During 27th to 30th June, the 2017 National Martial Course Teaching Demonstration Activity designated for senior high school students was held in Shanghai. The grand event was sponsored by the Ministry of Education, hosted by Shanghai Education Commission and implemented by Shanghai Teenagers’ Extracurricular Activity Base, other known as Oriental Oasis Organization. Altogether there were 27 senior high school students’ representative teams in addition to over 200 teachers and students participating in the spectacular occasion, who were from provinces, autonomous regions, direct-controlled municipalities, Sinkiang production and construction corps as well as Macao Special Administrative Region.
First of all, Anqing Foreign Language School’s delegation team attended the military course teaching demonstration on behalf of Anhui Province. Anqing Foreign Language School’s representative team established the thought of caring for, ardently loving, constructing and defending national defense by means of endeavor and painstaking practice to achieve excellent performances.
To be specific, this martial course display activities consisted of enemy capturing fist, wireless sense finding, map utility and identification, war wound rescue in addition to camp and field training, which aimed at training military skills.
Second of all, out of three assessment items, the delegation of Anqing Foreign Language School won second prize in the radio orientation. Other than that, the representative team was awarded third prizes in the categories of map utility and identification in addition to war wound rescue, which submitted a satisfactory answer sheet for Anqing Foreign Language School and people in Anhui Province with sweat and brilliant performances.
In a nutshell, it marked the 90th anniversary for the army building of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army today. Through the four-day passionate learning, all candidates grew up and gained a lot. Thus, not only did the military course teaching demonstration cultivate children’s sense of national defense, spirit of patriotism and comprehensive military attainment, but also enabled them to experience a profound revolutionary heroism education.
